Laughing Sandbag - Blog 57
If a black sandbag could laugh, it'd be the kind of laugh that sounds like it's been holding onto a beach's worth of giggles. Imagine:
A laugh that's part "heh-heh" and part "swoosh-swoosh," as if each chuckle sends a mini sandstorm out of its mouth.
The sandbag's laugh would be like a low-budget earthquake, with each "har-har" causing a tiny avalanche of sand to settle inside it, making for a laugh that's both dry and sandy, like "Har-har, phht, har-har, phht!"
This laugh would have the rhythm of a slow, sandy salsa, where every "heh" is followed by the sound of sand shuffling, like "Heh, shuffle-shuffle, heh, shuffle-shuffle."
So, in full, the sandbag's chuckle would be something akin to, "Heh-heh, swoosh, har-har, phht, heh, shuffle-shuffle," making you imagine it's not just laughing but also doing a little sand dance with each giggle. It's the kind of laughter that feels like it would leave you with a bit of sand in your ears, just for the fun of it.
