Welcome to the 11th blog post from www.sandbagrental.com. This time, we will discuss how to use a sandbag to hold down a base plate that supports a drape. 

Have you ever seen an event drape fall down? Not only is it super frustrating to watch, but it is also stupid and dangerous. Innovative upright systems are a great system that is widely used, but like anything else made of metal, it hurts when it falls on you. 

A good way to prevent this is to drop a sandbag or two onto the base supporting the vertical upright. You don't have to plug it in or program anything; you simply pick the sandbag from the truck and land it directly onto the baseplate. Done and done. Try it.
