Film/Video Sandbag - Blog 13
What makes a sandbag a film or video sandbag? Does it have to pass a test, or get a higher education or something? What gives the film/video sandbag the right to call itself such a thing?
The truth of the matter is that any sandbag can be called a film/video sandbag if it is used for film or video. Although not all sandbags are created equal (because we offer the best, of course), you can use a sandbag for just about anything and call it whatever you want. Don’t discriminate.
Using a sandbag in the kitchen? It is now a kitchen sandbag. Using a sandbag for surgery? It is now a surgery sandbag. Using a sandbag inside a tank? It is now a tank sandbag. You get it.
As far as the film/video sandbag goes, it goes like this: You can place the flexible bag around a brace or boom to provide stability because the sandbag molds around the side of it. In our humble opinion, you only want to use a 25-pound sandbag, as a 15-pound sandbag is pretty much useless. Our options include 25lb sandbags or 25lb sandbags. Get it? Got it? Good.
Have a nice day.
